Okay, so, I am properly best starting off where I was this time last year- A busy working mum of 3, full time stressful job that often see’s me late home. I ate on the run, whatever I could get my hands on, drank endless cups of coffee and energy drinks, as I didn’t sleep well, and needed caffeine to keep me awake and focused. I would pick up take aways on my way home. I smoked and drank most nights. I was taking a cocktail of medication every day, pain killers for the daily head aches I suffered from, also medication for indigestion and heart palpitations due to stress-the doctor said! I was also 6 stone heavier than I was before I had my children!! It’s horrific thinking about it now! Over the last 15 years I have been on many different diets, some more successful than others, but the weight never stayed off.

I started another “diet” in April and over 2 months I lost 1 and and half stone, then put half back on!

In July me and a good friend decided to sign up to first class fitness and started 1 to 1 with Jamie. Not going to lie the first 2 weeks were hard, I was so embarrassed of myself, how big and how unfit I was, mixed in with detoxing and the most painful “Doms” EVER!!! Jamie is fully supportive, always there when you need him, encouraging us, pushing us and seems just as pleased with us as we are with how far we’ve come! I can honestly say I have never had so much fun, or laughed so much while exercising!! There have been times when I am literally crying with laughter!!

As for the food side, well I’ve been on diets right? I knew about food, eat less calories and loose weight!! I was wrong, it’s not just about that! Jamie has totally Re-educated me on food!

In October we started going to the fit camps too, I was so nervous about it. Being in a room with loads of fitness mad people making me look uncoordinated and overweight! But it’s so not like that, everyone is lovely, and at such different levels of fitness. We met the other Trainers Marcus and Mesha, who seems to already know us and made us feel very welcome. Both of them are great, very supportive and have the most amount of energy I have ever seen in anyone at 6am!!!

I now want to work out, strangely I need it, I don’t feel the same without it!!

It’s now November, I look and feel years younger, I have so much more energy and feel so much better about myself. I don’t smoke, I only drink when I go out!! I eat “clean” 95% of the time (no one is perfect!!) I take absolutely no medication, I sleep soundly through the night! I never have take aways, I forward plan all my meals. I’ve gone from a size 20 to a size 14 and my current Weight loss is just over 3 stone! I am now even more determined to lose the rest. This is all down to Jamie!! Joining first class fitness and meeting Jamie has been one of the best decisions I have ever made. I am weirdly looking forward to our next 4 months!
